1. Scope of Service
Chivale & Sons Ltd owns and operates residential properties that are offered for rental and temporary accommodation. We provide furnished houses and apartments for short stays, family visits, business travel and flexible residential use, and we manage our own property portfolio and connected letting activity. These terms apply to any booking made directly with us or through this website.
2. Booking & Cancellation
A booking enquiry becomes a confirmed reservation once we have confirmed availability in writing and the required deposit has been received. Cancellations made more than fourteen days before the arrival date are refunded in full. Cancellations made within fourteen days of arrival may be refunded in part or not at all, depending on the notice given and the length of the booking. These terms are confirmed to you before any payment is taken.
3. Deposits & Charges
The nightly rate, the length of stay and any additional charge are confirmed in writing before your booking is held. A refundable damage deposit is taken with the balance payment. Utilities, Wi-Fi, linen and towels are included in the rate. Any additional services arranged at your request, such as mid-stay housekeeping or additional bed linen, are charged separately and shown on your invoice.
4. Arrival & Departure
Check-in and check-out times are confirmed with your booking. Access instructions, including self check-in details where these are available, are sent before your arrival date. We ask that the property is left in a reasonable condition, that keys are returned as instructed, and that any damage or loss is reported to us before departure so that it can be dealt with promptly.
5. Liability & Damage
Guests are responsible for the property and its contents for the duration of their stay. Damage beyond fair wear and tear, missing items and any additional cleaning required may be charged against the damage deposit, with details provided in writing. We are not liable for loss of personal belongings left at the property, and we recommend that guests arrange suitable travel insurance.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from a booking is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
